Things you need:
1. 500gm chicken breast, one loaves size cut
2. 100gm yellow lentils
3. 100gm red lentils
4. 100gm potato small cube size cut
5. 2 chopped onion
6. 50gm cooking oil
7. 1 table spoon fresh ginger paste
8. 1 tea spoon fresh garlic paste
9. 3 chopped garlic cloves
10. ½ tea spoon turmeric powder
11. 1 table spoon cumin powder
12. 1 table spoon coriander powder
13. 1 table spoon -/+ chilli powder
14. 1 tea spoon mint paste
15. 3 tomato cut into 4 pieces
16. 1 bay leaf
17. 3 small pieces of cinnamon stick
18. 3 cardamom
19. ¼ tea spoon black paper powder
20. 3 table spoon dry fenugreek leaves
How to prepare:
1. Put meat, all lentils, onion, turmeric, ginger, garlic, cumin, coriander, bay leaf, cardamom, cinnamon, chilli, mint, salt in a pan and boil with one and half litre water
2. When lentils will tendered put tomato , fenugreek leaves and potato
3. After tendered potato stir and mash lentils if need add some hot water
4. Now you can taste salt
5. Put oil in separate fry pan, when oil will hot put chopped garlic and fry with quick stirring till brown
6. Spread brown garlic with oil over dhansak and stir gently
7. Cover the pan and keep on simmer for 10 minutes
8. Your dhansak is ready for serve
